My name is Jessica, and I’m a celiac disease, Graves’ disease, and thyroid eye disease advocate.
After being diagnosed with celiac disease in 2011, I was determined to make a positive change in my life and soon began whipping up delicious batches of gluten free cookies, breads, and cupcakes. Throughout my diagnosis, I found a great deal of support in the online gluten free community. Wanting to help make a difference, I started my blog, Tasty Meditation: Tales from a Gluten Free Kitchen.
Several years ago I was also diagnosed with Graves’ disease and thyroid eye disease. I currently write articles and give speaking engagements about my experiences living with these autoimmune conditions. My goal is to help create the resources that I wish were available when I was first diagnosed and hopefully help others feel a little less alone.
In addition to my writing, I am also an Organizer of the NYC Celiac Disease Meetup Group, the largest gluten free Meetup group in the world with over 2,900 members. We welcome all gluten free individuals, so feel free to stop by and learn about our next exciting event! www.meetup.com/Celiac/
Everything one here looks so tasty but what I really want to try is the pumpkin brownies they look so yummy.
