When I was a kid, my favorite holiday tradition was building a giant gingerbread house from scratch with my sister – every year it was themed “Hagrid’s Hut” from Harry Potter. Everything was edible, and it took three days to make. Sadly, that tradition got harder to maintain when we moved to different states, and even harder when I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease. However, one of my favorite bakeries is here to save the day with their Gluten Free Gingerbread House Kit!
Izzi B’s Allergen-Free Bakery is located in Norwalk, CT. There is no storefront, but they have pick-up options and ship all across the country!
About Izzi B’s:
- Allergen-free facility!
- Gluten free
- Soy free
- Dairy free
- Egg free
- Peanut/tree nut free
- Casein free
- No preservatives
- No trans fats
- No refined sugar
- No artificial colors or flavors
- Cholesterol free
- Vegan
- Kosher certified
I LOVE Izzi B’s and have been a fan of theirs for years. They are free of so many ingredients that you’d think are essential to baking, yet their products are incredible. I highly recommend the vanilla cake – OUT OF THIS WORLD!
The gingerbread house kits are delightfully fun for both children and adults. Kits are $29.50, and their website has a PDF of instructions and allergen information for all of the candy included (all are extremely allergen friendly).
There is still time to order before the holidays, so get your GF gingerbread house now!

I love love love LOVE when brands are gluten free and vegan as well. Makes it so much easier to enjoy foods with my daughter who can’t have gluten while I’m vegan.

We avoid very little, I’m sorry to say. We need to do better. The gingerbread house would go to my daughter, Tabitha, who is 18.

My daughter is allergic to nuts, so we definitely avoid anything with nuts. I would make this gingerbread house for and with my grandchildren.
