My Grandpa’s Farm Review & Giveaway

I am overjoyed to share one of my new favorite gluten free companies – My Grandpa’s Farm.

Having made their debut in 2012, My Grandpa’s Farm is a family owned and operated business based in Minnesota. I first met the lovely team at a recent east coast gluten free expo – they traveled all the way from Minnesota to share their delicious cake mixes with us! I will admit that I visited their booth more than half a dozen times to re-taste their delicious cakes – they were offering samples of their pumpkins spice, banana, and carrot cakes, and I couldn’t get enough!

After the expo I spoke with a few blogger friends and gluten free enthusiasts, and we agreed that My Grandpa’s Farm was by far one of the best booths of the entire weekend. Not only that, we were shocked that these cakes did not come from a specialty bakery – they were mixes! This magic could be whipped up in my own kitchen! I left that weekend with an Organic Banana Cake mix and buyer’s remorse for not purchasing ten more of their other flavors, as well.  I will make a bold statement and say that they are (in my opinion) the best gluten free cake mixes on the market.

Some extra fabulous information about their mixes:

  • Organic
  • Gluten Free (tests to 10ppm) & made in a dedicated facility
  • Preservative Free
  • Non- GMO
  • Made with limited ingredients (only about 6 or 7 ingredients per mix)
  • Free of the 8 major allergens (some recipes do call for butter or eggs, but it’s possible to get great results with allergen-free substitutes)
  • Made in a nut/corn/soy free facility
  • They guarantee you will fall in love with their mixes – if not, they’ll offer you a full refund!

And now for the mixes themselves!

  • Pumpkin Spice Cake (one of my top picks!)
  • Chocolate Cake
  • Carrot Cake
  • Banana Cake (another top pick!)
  • Peanut Butter Cake
  • Spice Cake
  • Gingerbread Bar
  • Brownies
  • Pumpkin Spice Bread
  • Banana Bread
  • White Bread
  • Whole Grain Bread
  • Pancakes
  • Pizza Crust

Minnesota natives will say that you can find My Grandpa’s Farm products at many local stores including Whole Foods and Hy-Vee, but if Minnesota is a little too far out of your way, you can purchase directly from their website and on amazon.

  1. I would love to try the chocolate cake mix. All the gf ones I’ve tried have been tasty, but dry and more fudgy or heavy than a regular cake. I am craving a moist chocolate cake!
