Do you ever have those days when you really need a snack? A delicious, crunch, salty something? Or maybe you’re traveling and need something to munch on that will keep you satisfied? I’ve never been one to reach for potato chips. I could eat them for days and not feel full. I like my snacks to be more filling and have more of a nutritional punch.
That’s why I was delighted to learn about Enlightened Crisps. Made from roasted broad beans, these tasty little crisps have 15g carbs, 7g protein, and are only 100 calories – perfectly satisfying. Enlightened is passionate about creating products that make you feel as good as they taste. A good source of protein, fiber, zinc, folate and B vitamins, I am continuously happy to open another bag.
The ingredients are very simple, as well. The Garlic & Onion flavor, for example, only has five ingredients – broad beans, sunflower oil, garlic, onion, sea salt. No messy chemicals or preservatives.
Fun facts about Enlightened Crisps:
- Gluten free
- Soy free
- Non-GMO project verified
- Contains only natural ingredients – no synthetic or artificial dyes, sweeteners or flavors
- Kosher (except Mesquite BBQ flavor)
Enlightened Crisps come in five yummy flavors:
- Sea Salt
- Mesquite BBQ
- Garlic & Onion
I love eating them on their own (they are the perfect travel snack), but they would work well in salads and as a garnish on soups. My personal favorites are the Sea Salt and Sriracha. The Wasabi packs a big punch, so if you’re a wasabi fan you will love it.
